GREAT AMERICAN GOLF CLUB (GAGC) OVERVIEW

The Great American Golf Club is an Affiliate Club of the Southern California Golf Association (SCGA), located in San Diego, CA. The name originated in the 1980’s when the club was formed by members associated with a local bank.

  Here are some of the benefits of being a member of our organization:

  Save time   We schedule the tee time, so you don’t have to.

  Save money  Our membership fees are some of the lowest around. Membership with our club includes membership    with the SCGA, which allows you to establish an index for competition.

  Have fun  We average about 50 members: men and women of all ages, golfing abilities, backgrounds, single, married – all out to enjoy a round of golf and the camaraderie of friends. We are a FUN group. We love our golf, don’t take it that seriously, except that all rules must be followed, including no gimmies!

  Variety  We play a tournament at a different course each month. In most years we also arrange an out-of-town         getaway to Borrego or Palm Springs area.

  Friendly Competition Members play for a variety of prizes at each tournament. All members are also eligible to     participate in our Club Championship tournament each year
